What are ESA funds? The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Program provided by the Arizona Department of Education expands educational opportunities for eligible students outside of the public school system. The program provides funding that can be used for a wide variety of educational expenses, such as music lessons at Vocals UP! Vocals Up takes a wholistic approach to vocal training, offering a comprehensive program to nurture young talents. Going beyond just singing lessons, this innovative program guides students on a transformative journey to find and express their authentic voice.

Through expert instruction, youth learn proper vocal techniques, stage presence, and performance skills to feel confident commanding any stage. Field trips provide real-world inspirations that demonstrate how to bring their vocals to life.

But it's not just about singing. Vocals Up equips students with tools for the business side of music, empowering them to understand the industry. The program culminates in an end-of-year showcase, allowing students to express their hard-earned gifts for friends, family, and even industry professionals.

Students engage in self-discovery exercises to peel back layers and uncover their true voice and artistic identity. Lisa Hightower is a multi-talented vocal performer and coach on a mission to empower others to achieve their singing dreams. Drawing from a rich, diverse music background, Lisa brings extensive knowledge and passion to every coaching session she leads.

As a powerful performer herself, Lisa has tapped into the secrets of captivating an audience and delivering a truly great live experience. Now, she is eager to share these hard-earned insights with her students. Under Lisa's expert guidance, singers at all levels learn to master proper techniques, develop stagecraft, and unlock their authentic vocal expression.
